Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 1 – Delhi / Haridwar to Barkot

 

  • Pickup from Delhi Airport/Railway Station or Haridwar.

  • Drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie and Kempty Falls.

  • Enjoy beautiful Himalayan views during the journey.

  • Arrival at Barkot and hotel check-in.

 

Distance:

 

  • Delhi to Barkot: Approx. 420 km / 10–11 hrs

  • Haridwar to Barkot: Approx. 180 km / 6–7 hrs

 

Meals: Dinner  

Night Stay: Barkot

 

Day 2 – Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

 

  • Early morning drive to Janki Chatti.

  • Begin trek to Yamunotri Temple (6 km one way).

  • Optional pony/palki services available.

  • Darshan and पूजा at Yamunotri Temple.

  • Return trek to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.

Day 3 – Barkot to Uttarkashi

 

  • After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi.

  • Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

  • Evening at leisure near the Bhagirathi River.

Day 4 – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

 

  • Early morning drive to Gangotri.

  • En route enjoy Harsil Valley and river views.

  • Darshan at Gangotri Temple and holy Ganga origin region.

  • Return to Uttarkashi by evening.

 

Distance: Approx. 200 km round trip / 8–9 hrs

Day 5 – Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sitapur

 

  • Long scenic drive towards Guptkashi/Sitapur.

Day 6 – Guptkashi – Kedarnath

 

  • Early morning drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund.

  • Begin trek to Kedarnath (18–20 km).

  • Helicopter option available at extra cost.

  • Arrival and darshan at Kedarnath Temple.

Day 7 – Kedarnath – Guptkashi

 

  • Attend morning darshan and rituals.

  • Trek down to Gaurikund.

  • Drive back to Guptkashi/Sitapur.

Day 8 – Guptkashi to Badrinath

 

  • Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.

  • Visit Tapt Kund and evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.

Distance: Approx. 190 km / 7–8 hrs

Day 9 – Badrinath to Rudraprayag / Srinagar

 

  • Morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.

  • Drive towards Rudraprayag/Srinagar.

  • En route visit Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Devprayag.

 

Distance: Approx. 160 km / 6–7 hrs

Day 10 – Rudraprayag / Srinagar to Haridwar / Delhi

 

  • After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Delhi.

  • Drop at railway station or airport.
